How to Climb Well

The strength of forearm flexors has a very strong correlation with how well you'll climb. It's almost like that concept of over preparing the soft tissues of the muscles for the demands of what you're going to do sees really, really good results. But with cases like Mary's and then other climbers with their just keen weekend warriors or other professional climbers who haven't done a great deal of climbing is that through the form or the practice of climbing we very rarely stress and push our larger muscle groups. So things around the shoulder, good or core, legs, hips, lower back, et cetera, are not fully conditioned when it comes to climbing.
