The Importance of Teaching Kids Compassion

There's something around eating which is called don't yuck my yum. When kids are having lunch or they're sharing food, that word yuck and there's a whole list of them. Disgusting. That's nasty. We encourage them not to use those words because you never know what that person brought that day could be exactly what you said. And sometimes just as simple as no thank you, right? Oh, I'll try it another day or maybe another day or find something positive about it.
