You Should Be Very Harsh With Yourself When You're Not Lifting

"You should be very harsh with yourself when you're training and in under a bar," he says. "When that sets over, you should come for yourself... You should self-soothe." He advises people to keep themselves cool by using a fan or drinking more water between sets. The coach also suggests giving your body some of the blood sugar it's burning back into its cells during workouts so they can burn on the next set.
