The Birth of Nutrition
The Boa War was actually, I think, the birth of nutrition as we know it today. It came about because conscripts going to war were malnourished. The medical fraternity were a bit up in arms and published something in the British medical journal. If parents' earnings were insufficient to provide an adequate diet, you know, children are going to be malnourish. That's what you were saying, Chris. And this is profoundly true in 21st century Britain in 2023.
