The Facial Feedback Hypothesis

A micro expression is a really fancy word for a very short facial expression. It's a brief facial expression that is involuntary, that we as humans make when we feel an intense emotion. When we meet another human being and they show us a sadness micro expression, our body has neurierons and begins to mimic it without even realizing it. If you look at a face of some one sad, you usually will begin to form the sad faces. We can't even help it. So there's this really interesting feedback loop that happens with our emotions.
