With music and sound being such a big part of the identity of the game, I was curious if there was ever a point in time at which this was more of like a rhythm based RPG. "I wanted like set piece music, not not rhythm, rhythmic music," he says. The battle system is very accessible while also still being incredibly interesting and explorational.
