The idea is that your brain goes into a state of,. as the yogi say, you stop thinking and doing, and you start being and feeling. Ten to 30 minutes of yoganidra per day, or what i call n s d r, is immensely beneficial. It's been shown to improve mental health outcomes, learning recovery from chama. There's another form of this, which is self hypnosis. You're trying to get your brain into a state according to what you want. And so people who can do it on their own are more likely to be able to go into hypnosis easily
