The Web of Belief
If you think that normativity is like physics, in that sense, you might also expect people to converge on normative facts. And a consequence of that would be per the earlier argument about collective action problems, there will be more cooperation in the future. But they're kind of blurry, right? So I'm thinking about ethical views that are informed by beliefs about souls or something. At some extent, it's like empirical. Or different religions. Like have different ethical ideas and also have like different numbers of gods and things like that. These things are not sharply separated.
