How to Plan a Staycation
Don't go to work. Hang out, grab lunch with a friend,. Get it in the schedule because it won't happen if you don't. If you can absolutely avoid responding to emails, then that needs to be your mode of operation for the time that you have off. Plant some day trips. You know, we're fortunate enough here outside of Boston where we can get to the ocean in less than an hour. So go walk the beach. Go have lunch at somewhere near the beach. Make a day trip out of it. Log out of social. I think it's important to try and log out of Social Media. It will help you avoid the other kind of negativity going on
