Is Cascades in the Christmas Ale?

We were the first to use Cascades commercially. There's very little of it, but I've been growing it for them as a part of our experimental program. We always used whole hops. All malts and whole hops. That was fairly, that was the norm in those days. The hop extract was just coming on. Henry Von Eichl told me about the experimenting they were doing with carbon dioxide as a solvent for hop extract. So the idea of using carbon dioxide appealed to me, but we never did that.
