How to Get Out of a Fight or Flight

When we're triggered, we go into fight, telites, freeze or appease. The thoughts we think about our binging is actually worse than actual binging. We have to find a way to get out of the sympathetic nervous system, interrupt the trigger and get into the para sympathetic nervous system. It's pretty important that when you eat you feel calm. And maybe this has some emotional response for you as well. Remember what we talked about earlier? You're not doing this for shits and giggles. If you're going to try to hate yourself for the love of yourself, please do it with compassion.
