The root of the word elegance is to choose. And I think it's really important to recognize before you start advocating what you're advocating for and who you want to be when you're advocating. Those are choices. When you know that you're choosing, you're more likely to make the best choices. The last thing is to know your reasons on each side. Usually if you sit down and look at a list of reasons for a particular choice, the choice becomes much more clear.
