The Importance of Reciprocity in Muscle Training
In terms of how much MFR I use, it's probably maybe about 5% of the time. And for people that are listening that are wondering what is unilateral movement, how would you describe that to the listeners? So really what you're looking at is that when people move unilaterally, they're doing things on one leg, opposed to two legs all the time. It's a concept called contralateral reciprocation. If the AOS is not supported by the POS, the anterior oblique sling on the front side of the body is notsupported by the posterior oblique sling contralateral on the body. And then we don't really get a good stability.
