I have serious doubts as to whether you could learn to speak it fluently and not alter the language a little bit. I don't know if anyone could really learn it fluently because of the extreme precision involved. Even John Ki-Hada admits, you know, it takes him hours and hours to translate things. But in general, for naturalistic con-langers, yes, do the culture first,. but realize that most of the time the effects are very subtle.
