Global Food Born Illness Rates Are Not Comparable
We are kind o paranoid about food safety in the us, or at least our government is. Food production in the us Is so centralized in the hands of a few big companies that a single contamination could cause a nation wide outbreak. Meat and dairy industries are terrified of this, and their lobbyists are very powerful in washington. We count weigh more food born illness. That does mean we're actually getting weigh more foodborn illness. It just means we're counting more.
