Your Brain Is Predicting

The old way of thinking of brain function would be, there's stimuli in the world, coming in, and we're responding in some way. But this view kind of flips that on its head - our minds are constantly running to predict what should be happening. So i would say your brain creates your mind, no, in conjunction with your body, so and the world. But really, your brain is predicting. Your an will receive sense data from your body, aches or tugs or or would have you, and those are the effects of some set of causes. And your brain doesn't know what the causes are. It has to guess because it needs to figure out what to do
