Is the Weather Helping Traditional Style Borollo?
The weather in barollo has been getting warmer every year for the last decade. The wines have been noticeably sweeter, rounder and not quite as bitter. Modern borolo is designed to put sort of a glossy sheen over it which robs them of what makes barollo special. i believe that traditional borolo and barbaresco just has an incredible future.
