boxing has changed some of your interpretation of like what lifting can do for people and what it's even done for you. I used to think that if you have a certain level of strength of absolute strength then you should have acertain level of sport specific strength, but now i don't  it's fairly vague its is very vague. Just repeating like i'm strong i'm capable i can do this will help with the mental training as well because in your head when you're able to lift 500 pounds 400 pounds or 200lbs just repeating those words does wonders.
