The Novelty Effect in Training for PC Studies

The novelty effect that we see in training for PC studies. Most people just run bro splits or body part splits. So I think the case could be made that maybe it's not the frequency per se that's causing the better adaptations in the upper lower group or the full body group. Block periodization does not fare better than just a completely continuous program. A recent study actually showed that underlating periodization was barrier to block periodization and for both strength and muscle apography.
