Napoleon Bonaparte - The French Version of Napoleon's Old Name

As he left Paris, Napoleon Bonaparte also left behind his old name. He worried it might look a bit odd for a general with this Italian-sounding name to be leading a French army invading Italy. Next time we'll meet the army of Italy, the instrument with which Napoleon would win fame and glory.
