The Importance of Getting Away From Grinding Gears

Once you reach your maximal tolerable perception of effort that corollary discharge is going to get so small that you're going to cease doing what you're doing. If we've got a load of painful sensations occupying part of that perceived effort, then obviously the corollary as you say is going to getting smaller and smaller and smaller. And it's going to create a bigger and bigger amount of central nervous system. But ultimately, we always reach test failure because we reach our maximum tolerable perception effort.
