Amae unhappy, well, i think regret has got a bad reputation in that sense. You often hear this slogan of, oh, no regrets. I think atually, regret typically is seen by psychologists now as actually being an emotion that is useful, functional and beneficial. And it's got an adapt of purpose because of the way that it links with decision making. So i think that backward looking ar way in which regret affects decision making is important. But there's another very important way in which regretted affects decision making, and that's in terms of anticipation oregret.
