Strength Training Reduces Overuse Injuries by a Third

There was a huge paper looking at all different kinds of activities. They found that strength train does reduce risk of injury. It reduces all injuries by a third and reduces or almost halves over use injuries. But we can't say that this will benefit runners because they just weren't included in the study. Whereas now I think most well planned running programs are going to have some strength component to it.
