The adult attachment interview that iam trained to give, is really looking at your ability to offer care for others. That may be a huge correlation with how that offering went to your child and shaped their pattern of attachment. In our view, developmental attachment view, from the science of developmental attachment, where it began, these attachment categories are completely changeable. And in my own work of the last 30 years, healpig people transform their attachment category, their attachment strategy, toward security. And it's not a genetic thing.
