Can't Hit the Ball Straight?
All the scoring shots are on the off side. We've constrained it by saying we bring the leg side boundary right in so it's literally two yards away. The only place you can hit with any real power if you're 11, unless you're a big beast, is with a pull or a hit because you're using all your body. Hitting it onto the off side, you can't use your whole body. So to hit the ball straight, even 14 year olds, the best they could hit it was about 40 meters at the best ones.
