Do You Believe in Aliens?

And the answer to that is, no, but they exist whether I believe in them or not" So someone said, how do you reconcile a very strong interest in your work with what is otherwise a generally apathetic and disengaged approach to life? Well, so that's a nihilism question, right? Because there's kind of two broad categories of existential catastrophe. One would be the escape into a rigid totalitarianism that sort of crushes with its strictures,. The other is to let everything fall apart and to become nihilistic.
