There is now a pretty strong majority within Ukraine to basically stop at nothing. Peace is not attractive if it involves surrendering, or acknowledging that Crimea is now Russian. And as the head of the National Security Council claimed, if Zelensky were to accept a peace deal with Russia, he would have committed political suicide.
What the governments and media are saying in public is quite different to what they may be saying in private. Anatol Lieven, former war correspondent joins us to discuss the question of Crimea and how different the discussions in private are compared to what we hear in the public eye.
