Anticoagulation and Antiplatelet Therapy in the Hospital Setting?
Some patients maybe we're not able to completely now hold their antiquagulation when they are actively bleeding. Some studies say that starting within four days or within seven days is probably more beneficial than not starting it at all, because you cn' potentially increase the risk of a thrombotic event. And certainly no patient, not like the one that we discussd as 61 year old patient who is an antiquagulation, i'd certainly worry about development of thrombosis. But based on some literature that we have in agan case series,one would say within four to seven days would be a reasonable time, frime, to resume antiquagulation.
