Cancer Cells Don't Want to Use Their Mitochondrials

The reason why cancer cells are glycolytic is because it's quicker and they don't really give a shit about like ATP. They're basically saying I'm willing to do an inefficient process of getting ATP in exchange for something else. Anything that'll activate pyruvidehydrogenase or anything like beta-hydroxybutyrate, anything that's going to force the mitochondria to work. Cancer cells are primed to die; this is the whole basis behind how chemotherapy drugs work.
