Repetition Creates Habits
One of the myths out there that really is damaging people is the notion that repetition creates habit, and that you have to do something for 66 days or 30 days and so on. Not designing for repetition. You're designing for a feeling of success as you do the behavior. It's it's our brain watching for an emotion. And it's that emotion that signals to the brain, oh my god, you should repeat this. Look it, look at a baby starting to walk. When the baby takes the first steps, what do parents do? They don't, right? Be celebrated.
