CHAPTER

Is There a Threshold for Overconfidence?

There is a threshold that different people need to be given in order for it to alter their own self-image. I imagine that some people may have overconfidence and it actually takes a lot of negative experiences to bring that down, and the reverse happens as well. Some people tend to almost be blinded or biased towards remembering the good things that they did; other people are the opposite. It's learning to work with that a little bit. And one of my favorite examples from history, actually, is someone who displays this perfectly: Abraham Lincoln.
