When we exercise, we're much more inclined to want to connect or afterwards to connect with other people. From a caveman point of view, like after getting to safety, we're primed for connection to be safe again. We tend to find that after exercise, this kind of experience shows them. So it's not just a high. There's a primal motive that exists in the exercise. And that is that it is priming us for connection.
