I would encourage leaders to foster conflict. If everybody's always agreeing all the time that you're probably not progressing towards the right outcomes. So I like to ask in meetings if I haven't heard from someone, I hasn't heard your point of view on this. Can you tell me what you think? Or does anybody disagree with the direction that we're taking? Don't assume that because people aren't speaking up that that means that they're agreeing with the solutions that you're discussing. That's how you say it is going to say a lot to for the team if it's a safe place to disagree or not. It will build trust and allow people to experiment and try these new things
