I did it for a very brief time I worked at an organization that does policy advocacy work. And when I got there, I was like this immediately is not at all, it was a step in the wrong direction because it actually took me further away from the people that I wanted to work closely with. It was really eye opening for me to experience something where I'm not getting anything out of it. That experience made me even more certain in the direction that I want to take longer term.
