Is There Evidence That Fasting Mimicking Diet Can Affect Aging?

There's definitely good evidence that at least prolonged fasting has a pretty potent anti-inflammatory effect. I worry a little bit about prolonged fasting and the context of muscle loss if you don't do something to get that muscle back. Even fasting mimicking diets are a periodic caloric restriction for a period of a week or two.
