Doom the Roguelike Hardcore Game

The original doom the roguelike is so hardcore you need to get an item before you can save your game. There's strong circumstantial evidence that this idea comes from jr. raga. i'm sure when he was making spelunky he thought you know what was really awesome in doom the Roguelike how it had these secret levels and they kind of all connected. It's really annoying to me to hear everyone talk about it without like big upping the originator and i i reagan.
