The Sensitivity of Subjects
In some languages, this rule is so strong that you are not even permitted to use an over noun phrase as the subject of a transitive verb. It must be a pronoun. This in those languages, the restriction is on the subject of transitive verbs. In Spanish, the title a person has can does require an article,. But I don't think just a proper name by itself can take it. There's something, there's weirdness in the Hungarian situation. And I forget what happens if you have over non-third person pronouns.
