The Timeline for ACL Reconstruction

The timeline for ACL reconstruction in a perfect world is going to be nine months at a minimum, up to 12 months if we have a really good client or athlete. The nonoperative part of the equation is that you don't get that second trauma to the knee and you're able to get into rehab a little bit sooner. So technically there is that earlier return to sport for those people. There is one published case study out there of an elite Premier League soccer player who often gets quoted when we have these discussions.
