Sisterhood is about creating a safe context for sisterhood when we come together. So you describe a set of sort of spoken and unspoken, like explicit and just assumed guys or these are the things that we want to actually explore in our community. And you break them into four large categories. I'd love to talk a little bit about each one of those categories. The first one is what you describe as holding space.
Esteemed therapist Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, in her new book Sisterhood Heals: The Transformative Power of Healing in Community, emphasizes the healing power of community to combat feelings of isolation. She discusses creating safe, vulnerable spaces and the importance of platonic relationships for genuine understanding and support. Join us as we delve into themes of loneliness, sisterhood, group dynamics, and the unexpected origins of deep connections.
