The Importance of Dorsiflexion in Strength Training
Rami: The amount of force that your planter flexors can generate really declines incredibly quickly. So doing a lot of strength training in dorsiflexion is really important. Rami: I would rather have runners do a shorter range of motion going down into dorsoflexion, maybe going up through 10 degrees of planterflexion with heavy loads. That's the structure that's most often injured, particularly as we age.
