When you sell a business and you're either completely bought out or in a minority position, you're no longer the decision maker. You have to accept that it might be run differently than you would run it. The other one that I think I hear a lot about is that private equity buyers sort of scrape the soul out of a company. And there are circumstances where a founder feels like the buyer didn't honour the soul of the company.
