How to Make a Successful Negotiation

We always want to make them feel as though they left this with as a winner. Too often we fall victim to play this in itself because we're so socially conditioned to be polite, especially in regards to not wanting to impose on other people. But what happens is I think we are not vocal enough about our want and our need out of this inherent fear of imposing on the other party. We should be very vocal and confident about going after what it is we want. So long as we're mindful that the other party, one, want to be recognized and as we would in that they want to be a win-win.
