Getting Rid of Carbon Dioxide
The more carbon dioxide do we build up, the greater the acidity levels in our bodies. We use that offering apacity to buffer the highacidity levels from the high amount of carbon dioxide that we are producing. If we are breathing out both very forcefully, but also very rapidly, it is actually blowing out carbon dioxide quite a bit more efficiently. So one of the things that we can do, and i think that's a very good point you brought about, rob,. is that breathing may not just be helping us bring in oxygen, but it also may be helping us get rid of carbon dioxide.
