The Effects of Oxygen on Muscle Growth
The rate at which I'm running of exercise intensity dictates the metabolic energy demand from the muscle. So an 800 needs a lot of energy really quickly. A 21-kilow a marathon needs less energy at a longer rate. The latter, which is the endurance activity, can get that energy from fats and oxygen. And in order for that to happen, we need high flux or flow of glycogen in the muscle.
