The 184 mile run week is still a huge week whether you're an endurance runner or not. We started in June with five by eight miles one week and then we went back to marathon training in general stuff. At five by 16 the rails started getting a little screwy because people just weren't able to do that type of volume. These guys are masters of self-discipline they know how to sort of follow a chain of command like there's not a lot of excuses and whipping out, he says.
