The Importance of Early Life Experiences
Gird Geigerin's wrote a book called gut feelings where he shows just how often gut feelings can help us make really smart choices and invariably in very fast smart decisions. An example of feelings leading us in the wrong, just a very basic example is you know when I was a kid I got bitten by or somehow got tackled by a big dog. And for a long time afterwards I was kind of frightened when dogs would come running up to me. So early life experiences create the strongest feelings that will be the most influential. That doesn't mean we have to follow through with them. As we'll see in a moment, early life experiences can change either positively or negatively how we feel about
