The Importance of Luck in Complex Decisions
Complex is when we add in a strong influence of luck, but also ignorance. Ignorance technically from an academic standpoint is when you lack knowledge that allows you to really perfectly identify what the possibilities are or what the probabilities are. So once we add in kind of luck and imperfect information into the mix, what happens is that we get into complex decisions which basically means that your forecasts are subjective.
