If you're going to move into a new phase, of your life and start building muscle. You need carbohydrates for a bunch of reasons. Carbohydrates are required to shuttle proteed into the cells to facilitate a muscle proten synthesis. And whatever carbs you're comfortable with, right? If there's some evil carbs and there's some not evil carbs, eat the not evil ones and just eat some before your work out. Man, don't, don't start a quito diet the day before you you do your first barbell training work out, please. It's not going to go well.
