I was brought up in the era that loved to look at elite performers and assume that there's something to be learned from those experiences. It seems like, I don't know if it's the powerlifting community in general or just kind of the part of it that I'm exposed to is really willing to write off elite performances as just a byproduct of elite genetics. But all that's saying is that your simplistic thought about frequency and volume isn't complete. There's more stuff going in there.
