"I think too much to Apple's credit, I think they've had an appetite for, for the unconventional and for ideas that require some imaginative barrier to entry," he says. "It also was maybe the time, I mean, you know, I don't think anybody expected this outcome." The writers hand in a script about six months later but it took them more than two years before they could even start writing their show.
